Key Dates for 2012-2013 School Year
- October 1: Elementary and High School tours begin; Middle School tours begin the week of Nov. 7, 2011 (See individual school pages under the Schools section in the left sidebar for tour schedule)
- November 5: Enrollment Fair at Concourse Exhibition Center, 10am to 3pm, 620 7th St.
- November 7: Applications period begins (pick up enrollment applications and school guides at the Educational Placement Center, attend a Discovery Workshop, visit schools)
- December 16: Lowell applications due
- January 27: Applications due
- March 16: Placement notification
- March 19-23, April 2-13: Register at assigned school
- April 13: Applications due for May Placement Period
- May 11: Placement notification
- May 14-18: Register at assigned school.
- May 29: August Waiting Pool requests due
- June 4: Open Enrollment
- August: August placement notification throughout August
- September 3 through November 20: Spring transfer requests due for currently enrolled SFUSD students.
