Tdap (Whooping Cough) Booster Shot
Find out what you need to do to make sure your child can enroll in school in
the fall. A new California school immunization law ( AB 354
)
requires all students entering grades 7 to 12 in the 2011-2012 school year to
show proof of a Tdap (pertussis) booster shot. Pertussis, commonly known as
whooping cough, is a highly infectious disease that is on the rise in pre-teens

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) No Longer Available
Effective immediately, SFUSD will not be offering Transitional Kindergarten (TK) for the 2012-2013 school year. Only students turning 5 years old on or before Nov. 1 will be eligible for Kindergarten entry for the 2012-2013 school year. Find out more.
