of a project to update the SFUSD high school course descriptions.
Please look over the descriptions in your course area and provide
feedback to your department chair, or to Simone Dorman at the
Curriculum Improvement and Professional Development Center (759-2950),
who is overseeing the project. Please remember that this material
is not in finished form. Thank you for your participation.
The courses listed in this guide meet specific San Francisco Unified
School District graduation requirements in the following subject
areas: English, foreign language, mathematics, military science
or physical education, science, visual and performing arts, health
and driver education.
In addition to these courses, district high schools offer specialized
courses to meet the special needs of students.
