Registration Procedure for Newcomer High School Students

Welcome to Abraham Lincoln High School!

Please follow these procedures when you come to our school to register:

Please bring the complete package from Newcomer high school to Lincoln on the day of registration. It is suggested that your parents/guardians come with you because we may need them to sign a few legal documents. Please check your registration package to make sure the following is included:
A letter from the school district's Educational Placement Center indicating that you have been assigned to Lincoln high school
Newcomer high school student audit sheet with your ESL level listed and courses you have completed
BP-1 form from the school district's Educational Placement Center or Parent Waiver Form from the district's Multilingual Programs Office
BP-4 form from the school district's Educational Placement Center Other documents required by the district (such as your transcript, medical record, immunization record, etc.)
  1. First go to Room 125, the Dean's office to get your homeroom assignment and a program sheet
  2. Secondly, go to Room 130, the ESL/Bilingual office to see Mr. Fang to get your courses in the ESL department
  3. Then, go to Room 149, the counseling office to see your grade level counselor. Your counselor will give you a computer print out course schedule based on your program sheet.
  4. Finally, you need to go back to Room 130 and give a copy of your course schedule to Mr. Fang or Ms. Han.
