ESL department professional development day: 1/30/2002: Improving
instruction and assessment to better service our ELLs
- Mrs. Luini and Mrs. Carlson did a workshop on electronic portfolio and its implication on CCR,
LALAR and WASC. Department members got to practice setting up at least one portfolio using our
network's folders.
- Ms. Mok did a presentation on literature cycle and shared some materials obtained from ALACASA.
- Mrs. Luini and Ms. Mok presented new methods learned from ALACASA.
- Mr. Fang reminded members about CCR, calendar activity change and other business. |
