Student Activities

Our students participate in a wide variety of activities that make their high school life colorful. Our award winning global project Information Superhighway in Chinese reflects an international effort to establish a resource center and study hall in Chinese on the Internet. Abraham Lincoln High School's students also participate in the editing and publishing of the student online Chinese magazine The Colorful Years with other middle and high school students in San Francisco, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China. Students form many ethnic clubs on campus such as Chinese Cyber Journal club,
Hong Kong club, Korean club, Latino club, Chinese club, Mandarin club, Vietnamese club, etc...

Several community agencies are currently working with us to provide community service opportunities for students to broaden their vision and to know more about the world of work. Families in Transition program and Chinatown Youth Center provides a social worker and a tutor on site to organize tutoring, college and career counseling, social services and after school activities for new immigrants. Jewish Children Center provides after school activities for Russian speaking students.

Our students also participate in various international exchange activities with Japanese and French students. Key-pal projects link our students with teachers and students in Guilin, China and Tung Hai University, Taiwan.
