SUPPORT KALW
TO ALL OF OUR MEMBERS In a world where headlines are affected by bottom lines, we are glad that KALW remains non-commercial, and dependent on our listeners - You - as our most important source of income. Because we are accountable to you... not Wall Street, Madison Avenue or Capitol Hill, we can bring you clear, concise, and objective news coverage. We can bring you music that is chosen by our own announcers, not someone in a corporate office. 91.7 KALW, Your Local Public Radio Station is a tapestry of national and local programs unique to the Bay Area, made possible by our listeners. That's what makes 91.7 KALW worth your support, because without you we would just be radio. Thank you, Dianne Keogh Producer, On Air Fundraising

How do public radio services NPR, PRI and KALW actually differ? National Public Radio, based in Washington, D.C., is a radio production and distribution company for programs like Morning Edition and All Things Considered. NPR has more than 500 member stations nationwide. Public Radio International, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, distributes public radio programs such as This American Life and As It Happens to stations worldwide. KALW purchases programs from these companies at a significant cost and also produces its own local programs for your listening enjoyment.
