Wednesday, March 15, 2006 - Homeroom representatives receive Election Timeline/Info at Student Council Meeting.

Wednesday, April 19, 2006 - Student Council Meeting (3:30 pm, library), candidates petitions available, one for each homeroom representative attending.

Monday, April 24, 2006 - candidate’s petitions available in the Counseling Office. To view/print a copy of the APG Student Body Constitution:

Monday, May 8, 2006 - completed candidate’s petitions due in the Counseling Office (counselors check GPA/cit. and give qualifying petitions to K.Clayman (102) by Wed., May 10)

Friday, May 12, 2006 - all qualified candidates attend informational meeting during lunch in 109 (candidates notified by 5/11).

Friday, May 12, 2006 - through Friday, June 11, 2006 - candidates campaign, posters in central display area.

Wednesday, May 17, 2006 - LAST Student Council Meeting for 2004-2005 (3:30 pm, APG library), 2005-2006 Candidates MUST ATTEND and be introduced to HR representatives for question and answer session.

Wednesday, May 31, 2006, Candidates bring a copy of their speech to 109 by 3:30pm to be edited by Ms. Clayman and Ms. Stevens .

Monday, June 12, 2006 - Candidates’ Assembly, 5th period - 7th grade, 6th period - 6th grade. (Candidates come to auditorium during 4th period lunch) check in with Ms. Clayman ASAP.

Tuesday, June 13, 2006 - Voting, marking ballots in Homeroom (Homerooms attach cover sheet of HR totals, returned to 102). Winners announced by Ms. Trook.
