We are fortunate to have a committed faculty and administation, but they need our help. To help raise funds, families are being asked to make a tax-deductible donation to our Jaguar Fund. This year we are suggesting a $200 per family donation. If you cannot afford $200, any amount will help. If you can donate more, it would be greatly appreciated. Please complete the Donation Form and make your check payable to: A. P. Giannini PTA.
Fundraising Opportunities PTA Membership ($12.00) the money goes to support PTA services and the PTA organization. Jaguar Education Fund (Founders' Club, Principal's Circle, Jaguar Club, Friend of Giannini) - the money goes to support schoolwide programs decided on by faculty and staff at A.P. Giannini (like books, field trips, school supplies, etc.). Money is divided among 6th, 7th and 8th grade for grade level expenditures. All children and classrooms benefit. 50th Anniversary - Event to celebrate our school’s birthday. Magazine Sale (Fall) - an all school sale to raise money for school trips and graduation activities. Band Car Wash (Fall) - Money goes to the band program for instrument repair, new music, trips, instrument purchases. Choir Music Department Fundraiser - the money goes to buy new music, repair handbells, replace damaged choir chimes, field trips. Orchestra Holiday Gift and Food Sale (Fall & Spring) - the money goes to repair orchestra instruments and purchase music supplies and instruments. 6th Grade Teacher Request ($30.00 donation is requested of all 6th grade families for the 6th grade classrooms) - the nioney goes to specific 6th grade classroom supplies, materials and expenditures, including specific field trips and celebrations. 7th Grade Honors Team Fundraiser (September Request Letter) - the money goes to fund a June picnic. 8th Grade Honors Team - funds support field trips, materials, high school handouts, guest speakers, visiting dance & theater.
When you shop, you can help Giannini! We are not maximizing all of our income possibilities... keep the following information handy when shopping and help Giannini! Register with eScrip! A percentage of Safeway and charge account purchases at specific stores can be credited to AP Giannini if you are registered with eScrip! Register your Safeway card and others! eScrip can be accessed at www.escrip.com - our account number is 6466459. Register your Target Guest card or Target Visa and send a percentage of all purchases to Giannini through the “Target Take Charge of Education” program. Target card registration can be accessed at www.target.com (click on the “Community” link). Our school ID number is 35249. Make Office Depot purchases and 5% will go to Giannini. Tell the clerk at purchase to credit account #70014135. Albertsons shoppers can link their Preferred Savings card to our ID number (49001000490), and we will receive money every time you shop. Go to www.albertsons.com and click on “In the Community”, “Youth & Education” and Community Partners page to link your Preferred Savings Card. Save Campbells Labels for Education and Boxtops for Education. Clip and send to the Giannini PTA ... each label brings cash to Giannini! You can shop on-line at www.schoolpop.com and select our school ID number (0141060) and we will receive money every time you make a purchase.
Other ways you and your employer can help! Many employers offer matching donation and fund programs. Ask your employer if the A. P. Giannini PTA can be the beneficiary of a workplace donation program. In-kind donations (paper, copying, pencils, computer cartridges, etc.) and donations of your time are also greatly appreciated! See the principal for specific needs.
