School–to–Career/Regional Occupation Center and Programs

Mission Statement:

The ROC/P classes provide business education for the San Francisco Business Community. They provide students with career training that is linked to employment and continuing education. The classes integrate training programs into actual places of business to provide high quality hands on learning environment. Employers work directly with faculty and students. Both classes are linked with post-secondary educational programs to provide students with the opportunity for continued skill development.

COOPERATIVE VOCATIONAL EDUCATON

The purpose of the CVE course is to make the

transition from student to employee as easy as

possible for the working student. Most students

are eager to join the work community and em-

brace the employability skills necessary to suc-

ceed. This course provides the guidance needed

to assist the student as s/he strives to develop the

competencies to reach this goal.
