San Francisco School Volunteers recruits, trains and links
community and business volunteers with Bryant students, with
a focus on Literacy, Math and Parent Involvement.

Urban
Service Project
provides us with additional staff members to reach out to
the community through service learning.
Partners
In School Innovation
places teams of Americorps Partners in local schools in
order to support each school's reform efforts. At Bryant,
Partners will be supporting the school's literacy program by
analyzing assessment data and working with the teachers on
increasing achievement with sound instructional strategies.
California State Automobile
Association (CSAA)
The California
State Automobile Association
has adopted Bryant through the San Francisco School
Volunteer program. They have volunteered their time and
donated resources for our Kindergarten and 5th grade
classrooms, as well as our Parent Academy workshops.

is actively supporting our goals of literacy, math and
parent involvement by providing volunteers for academic
tutoring in the classrooms and after-school tutorial
programs, tech support, library organization and grant
writing. They recently arranged for the donation of 25
computers from the Charles Schwab Foundation.
