| Jaguars are the largest and the most powerful hunters in America. Jaguars can easily hunt large animals like peccaries, deer, ond crocodiles, but also like mice, lizards or even insects if that is all they can find.
|

| Jaguars mostly hunt on the ground; sometimes they will climb trees to lie in and also wait for their prey there. The Jaguar can run a short distance very fast. but they tire quickly. It hunts mainly at night and often surprises its unsuspecting prey. Adult jaguars are solitary, that means when they stay alone, seeking each other out only during breeding season, when male & female stay together for a short time to mate. | ||||||||||||||||||

BY GERTHY A monkey lives in the Rain Forest. She lives with her family. Monkeys are good parents. Some of the baby monkeys are protected by there family. And a baby monkey likes to cling to his mother. Monkeys spend a lot of time in the trees. A monkey moves very fast. All young monkeys learn to keep them selves clean. They also help other monkeys stay clean to. Monkeys live in groups. This monkey's name is baboon. The baboon monkey needs to look mean sometimes. There are more than thirty kinds of monkeys. The baboon monkey makes loud noises when they want to defend their homes or territories. This is all that I'm studying about monkeys. |

My Big Chair
One day in the museum I saw a big ghost. And then he said "come here because I want to tell you something. I want to tell you that I'm going to build a big chair just for you." And I said "thank you for the chair." I was happy. |
