1. What's your favorite part of your job?My favorite part of my job is seeing students grow and being more responsible.

I've been here for 5 years. I started in 2001
3. What do you hate about your job?
I don't hate anything about this job.
4. Where did you work before Francisco Middle School?
I worked at a supermarket, a high school, & worked at Marina
8. Do you have any advice to give to students about behavior?
It's important to treat others how you want to be treated and to have tolerance for other people. And to understand that we all make mistakes.
9. Do you get tired of your job sometimes? If so, why?
No, because middle school is very challenging and days are not always the same.
10. What do you do when the kids don't follow your instructions?
I often call their parents & set up meetings.
11. How do you help kids?
I listen to the students and try to calm them down. I tell them that things will get better and I like to help them with their issues at home.
12. What certain things did you learn from working at Francisco Middle School?
I learned about cultural understandings from the kids. I think the kids are very unique.
14. How do you usually feel before coming to work and after work?
I am usually excited before going to work. I feel happy after the day if students learn and I also feel tired.

Monitors there grades,talks to them and their parents.
4. Do you have any advice for kids with bad behavior or just anyone?
Recognize their behavior affects not only them but others around them.

Working with the students

She takes the normal steps for example:buddy room,call home.

Yes

She deals with students by being open minded.She enjoys helping them with there problems.

It depends on how the day goes .She always looks forward to going to work.

2. What's your favorite thing about your job?
Seeing the students here in FMS.

Since 1994
5. Is it hard for you to control the kids that don't behave?
No, but we are here to guide them
6. What was your job before coming to FMS?
She was a receptionist at an insurance company
7. What did you want to be before you came to FMS?
At first she wanted to be a helper inside a classroom, but she decided to be a counselor.
8. Do you have any advice to give to students about behavior?
To be an open-minded person
9. Do you get tired of your job sometimes?
No, but I hope the students that are always late will change and be on time.
10. What do you guys do when the kids don't follow your directions?
She gives them a warning or sends them to the counselor's office.
11. How do you feel before work and after work?
- She feels enthusiastic and happy before she comes to work and she feels like she accomplished something after work.
