Your research paper has 3 parts: introduction, body, and conclusion.

I.                  Introduction

Your introduction should state your thesis clearly and entice the reader to continue reading.  The introduction should briefly describe the purpose of your project and the methods that you used to do your research.

II.             Body

The body is the largest portion of your paper.  It includes the data/research analysis. .  Each paragraph should include a topic sentence, supporting statements with 3 specific examples, and a concluding sentence.  Use your outline to help you organize the order of the paragraphs. You should make sure that the paragraphs flow logically.

III.         Conclusion

The conclusion should restate your thesis. The conclusion should state something more than what was said in the introduction and show if you have proved or disproved your thesis. The conclusion should be at least one long paragraph and  may include your advice or opinion, propose a solution, and/or explain the particular results of your experiment/research.

***The last page of your project is the BIBLIOGRAPHY.  REMEMBER:  Research papers must have 10 to 15 pages of text, not including the cover page, graphs or photos/pictures, or the bibliography.
