Pretend you are having a meal at McDonald's. List all the items in the meal in the chart below under "Food Eaten". Analyze the nutritional value of the meal by finding the weight, in grams, of the fat, protein and carbohydrates in each item from the McDonald's Nutrition Facts brochure. Total up all three categories. Then, using the conversions shown on the wall, turn the gram weights into calories. Use the Calorie Conversion Reference Sheets provided at this table. Finally, graph the results. Make a double bar graph that shows the meal calories compared to the recommended daily amounts of calories in each category. What are your conclusions?
