Teachers created these guides for each page of the report and posted them on the walls in the classroom during the project. Students used them as reference while completing the work. If you are going to use these, copy and paste each section on its own 8.5 x 11 paper to hang on the wall.

 Title Page

This page should have the name of the project, your name, the date it's due and any decorations that you think make sense.

 Page 1 - Procedure

This page is where you should describe what you are doing. Don't put number details (data) here. Explain that you kept a record of your food, and tell where you got the gram weight data. This is a description of what the project is about. Explain what you've been learning. Tell about the nutrition classwork you've done.

 Pages 2 and 3

These pages are your Day 1 and Day 2 Food Diary Totals.

 Page 4 - Conversions

On this page, show six calculations where you change grams into calories. For day 1, you'll have three. For day 2, you'll have three. Label grams and calories. Label the categories (fat, protein and carbohydrates).Use your Calorie Conversion Reference Sheet for help.

 Page 5 -
Triple Bar Graph

 Page 6 - Comparison
On this page you must compare your Day 1 and Day 2 calorie totals to the recommended amounts. Refer to your graph. Look at it. Describe how the bar heights compare to each other. Also, look at your food types for each day. Look at the food pyramid. Did you have enough servings from each food group? Did you have more servings than what's recommended?

Page 7 - Conclusions and Recommendations

Now that you see how you compare to what's recommended, what is your discovery?

What improvements could you make to your diet?

Could more exercise help?

Should you have more servings of certain foods?

Should you eat more meals during the day?
