The Web Button Project is the first in a series of web-based projects where Jefferson Elementary School students take the lead in creating the school's first web site. Throughout these classroom-based projects students undertake everything from designing buttons to help building the web site.

Jefferson Elementary School is committed to providing students with various hands-on opportunities with computers in the classroom. Throughout the year students explore the basics of computers as a study tool and ways to integrate technology into their daily activities.

Parents and teachers work together to set-up and maintain the computers in the classroom and networking technology.
