Mr. Sugar

First the teacher gave us a book about Mr. Sugar was a folktale. Then we had to read it.  Next, we picked our groups.  The kids in my group were Momo'e, Egypt, Melvyn, and Jeremy.  We had to tell the story in our own words.  The story was about a man that loved sugar.
When we were finished writing the teacher typed the writing in the computer. In the afternoon we drew the pictures.  We put the books together.  Then we were finished.  The teacher forgot to put the cover on the book.  We are going to do the cover soon.

Mr. Sugar

This week I read a book about a man and he's Mr. Sugar. The kids were named Alicia and Alfredo.  Their grandma baked tamales.  Mr. Sugar wanted to spoil Alicia and Alfredo by giving them lots of sugar.
We wrote on paper and looked in the book and wrote words about the story. Ms. Ruskay typed the words.  The people at table 4 colored and we helped one another.  I like Room 13.

Uncle Nacho's Hat

This week we read Uncle Nacho's Hat.  It was about a man who loved his hat and his cat, dog, parrot and monkey.  He got a new hat but he wanted to get rid of his old hat.
It was a folktale and it was so much fun.  The kids in my group were Cesar, Tremeisha, Suzanne, Jacqueline, Mark, Marcela, and me.  We retold the story in our own words.  The teacher typed the words on the computer.  We looked at the book and drew pictures.                by Julio
