Catherine Siemens - Room 8 I teach second grade at John Muir, and have been at this school for nearly 8 years. I especially enjoy teaching writing, art, science and geography. This year my students will do a special project, growing grains (like rice, wheat and corn) from around the world. We will study different cultures and how they grow and prepare staple foods. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking in the mountains, painting, reading, and driving Porsches on the race track. I also love to travel. I have been to many countries such as England, Ireland, Greece, Cambodia, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Mali and Cambodia. Look for them on the map!
