Room 202's service learning project

The kids in our class made a quilt panel for Ryan White. This panel has hearts with

different colors on it. Ryan White died when he was 19 years old. He got AIDS

through a blood transfusion when he was 11 years old. We showed the quilt panel to

Mrs. White, Ryan's mother, and then people took lots of pictures of it. The panel is

going to be put on the big AIDS quilt. Some of us were on Eye Witness News, Channel

5, and some of us had our picture taken for the newspapers; Chronicle, and the

Independent. We are the featured display at the Names Project (Market and Castro Streets). Here are what some of our students have to say:
