The Counseling Department

Administered by the Assistant Principal/Pupil Personnel, this department is open to all students and their parents with academic or personal concerns. Each student is assigned his/her own counselor (based on registry number), whose job is to assist the student in any way possible or to aid in finding appropriate outside help when necessary. Students and parents are encouraged to make an appointment whenever guidance is needed. A major task for counselors is the college admissions process, which generally begins in the junior year.
