| The VICCI College and Career Information Center is operated by trained
community volunteers under the direction of the Counseling Department and the sponsorship of the PTSA.
Presently, the center is open from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through
Friday in room 116.
Its objective is to maintain an up-to-date reference library for use by
all students and to assist them in their decision-making as to college
choices, college majors and careers. |

The VICCI College and Career Center provides the following services :
- Distributes applications for California's public colleges and
universities when made available by the Counseling Department. Issues
applications for private and out-of-state colleges when available.
- Provides students with unofficial transcripts when requested.
- Assists students in interpreting information on transcripts, e.g.,
GPA's, test results, class rank, etc.
- Arranges visits from college admissions representatives.
- Provides information and planning for the SAT, ACH, and ACT tests.
- Provides information on SAT prep courses.
- Arranges for a representative from PACT who provides financial aid
advice and assistance in filling out financial aid applications.
- Provides information and applications for college scholarships and
summer programs.
- Maintains computer programs for college selection, college cost, college
majors, SAT preparation, and careers.
- Provides videos and laser discs for numerous colleges.
- Provides information for local summer programs within the U.S. and abroad.
- Provides information for academic year abroad program.
- Provides college information for students with disabilities.
- Arranges a College Fair for juniors and seniors.
