Subject: Gov. Schwarzenegger Directs State Swine Flu Response

Dear Colleagues, Students and Families,
I am forwarding two press releases related to the recent outbreaks of Swine Flu in California. Here is the Governor's Press Release on Swine Flu and the second one is from the State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Jack O'Connell. I recommend that currently we follow their recommendations.
At this point in time, the recommendations to prevent the spread of this disease are to encourage students and staff to cover coughs and sneezes, do good hand washing, and to stay home when ill.
