Dance Policy

Lowell High School Policy


Dance Regulations
All students enter through the doors near the main entrance.

Doors open at the start of the dance. No one is admitted after 8:30 p.m. Dances at the school end at 10:00 p.m.

To enter, one must have either:

  • a ticket with a Lowell Student Activities Card or
  • a ticket with a picture identification (when without a card).
  • No tickets are sold at the door.

The following rules govern the invitation of guests:

  • The sponsoring Lowell student takes full responsibility for his/her guest.
  • Guests bids are valid only when approved and signed by the Dean. Guests must be accompanied by the sponsoring student, who must have a Student Activities Card or valid identification.
  • Only one student is allowed in the building at any time.
  • No smoking is allowed in the building or grounds at any time.
  • Refreshments or food are not to be taken into the gym area of the dance.
  • No one will be readmitted to the dance once he/she leaves.
