| Modified Open Campus for Lunch Periods Only: The Lowell campus is a
modified open campus for a student's lunch period only. However, the
Stonestown Galleria Shopping Mall and the Rolph-Nicol Playground (next to
the west faculty parking lot) are strictly off-limits to all students
during school hours, including the lunch periods. For safety reasons,
students are not to walk to or from school by way of the wooded path (the
"trestle path") behind the Stonestown parking lot. In addition, students
need to follow a "good-neighbor" policy and keep the surroundings clean and
graffiti-free. |

| Where to Eat |
| The cafeteria and the courtyards only. No food in halls or classrooms even in inclement weather. Please do not litter. |

| Cafeteria Services |
| Cafeteria service begins with the serving of breakfast from 7:15 a.m. to
9:25 a.m. for those who either wish to buy a breakfast or who are
participating in the free and reduced price meal program. At 8:30 a.m. the
first of three snack carts becomes available. A variety of items such as,
milk, sweet rolls, donuts, or similar fare may be purchased. With the
exception of the registry period, food service is continuous until 1:30 p.m.
During the regular lunch period from 11:15 a.m. until 1:15 p.m., the
cafeteria serves a regular Type A lunch and has available for sale a number
of a la carte items. The beanery offers a variety of both hot and cold a la
carte items. |

| Free and Reduced Price Meal Program |
| This federally funded meal program provides a nourishing breakfast and
lunch for those students whose family income meets criteria for either a
free or reduced price meal. A student desiring to take part in the program
can obtain an application form and an eligibility guide in the cafeteria.
Once the application is approved, the student is issued a meal card with a
distinctive color each semester. |
