| Lowell offers over 10 languages ranging from the most popular ones such as Spanish and Chinese to smaller languages such as Korean and Hebrew. The diversity of the World Language Department reflects Lowell's diverse student body. Each year the department holds the Keremesse International Faire, a rally in the courtyard where each language fundraises and entertains with food and performances from each culture. Two years of the same language are required for graduation, but at least three years is recommended for colleges such the University of California system. |  | |
