Job:

Represents the school when there is an expulsion hearing
Set up conferences with parents, teachers and students
Interact with middle school law enforcement and social services
Make referrals to outside agencies as needed
Integrate professional skills as part of a crisis response team
Provide support to students when things in their lives interfere with academic achievement
Supervise students in the yard, on field trips, and as needed
Run the "King Club" as an incentive for appropriate behavior
Organize the 4.0 Tea Ceremony
Set up the "Ice Cream Honor Party" for Honor Roll students
Play "Nurse" when students are injured
Trained in CPR
Provide guidance as part of the Student Drop-Out Prevention Team /Student Attendance Review Board(SARB)
Advisor to the Student Study Team (SST) and Student Assistance Program (SAP)
