A
Trip to Remember!
On March 6, 2000 a group of eighth grade students and
teachers, Ann Dee Clemenza and Victoria Gonzalez departed on their adventure to Sacramento. Students
of the California History Alive Club (A.K.A. the CHA-CHA Club)
spent January and February fundraising to pay for the trip.
In the short span of three days, the group visited Coloma, the site of the discovery of gold, toured the Governor's Mansion and Capitol buildings of Sacramento and learned more about California history at Sutter's Fort and the California State Indian Museum. A special treat was shopping in Old town and exploring the Railroad Museum.

The club particularly enjoyed their stay at the beautiful Victorian Mansion Hostel in Sacramento.

All in all, it was a wonderful trip!
