David Wong

Cohort 2

David Wong was born and raised in Hong Kong.  Upon completion of high school, he attended the University of Tulsa and received his B.S. and M.A. degrees in Special Education.  In 1991, he received his M.A. degree in Education Administration at San Francisco State University. Mr. Wong has over 35 years of experience in education and school administration.  He has served as an elementary school principal at Daniel Webster and Francis Scott Key for a total of 21 years. Prior to that, he served as a teacher in special education and bilingual education.  In 2011, he was an honoree of the Principal of the Year from the Mayor’s Office in San Francisco.
