While schools are temporarily closed, SFUSD is working to provide access to technology for students in need of a device for distance learning, to the greatest extent possible. In service of this effort, the district will loan Chromebooks to SFUSD students in grades 3-12 who do not have access to a computer during the day at home to support distance learning.
For the week of April 6, pickups will take place Monday, April 6 through Wednesday, April 8 from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm at centralized locations based on a staggered schedule to reduce crowding and prioritize health and safety.
Home delivery will be available for a limited number of students who are unable to pick up at one of the centralized locations.
Please fill out the device request form at bit.ly/sfusd-device before picking up a device. Have your student ID number ready at the time of pickup.
All devices are SFUSD property and will be on loan to families. They will need to be returned to SFUSD when schools reopen. There is a limit of one device per student.
