Meet the Team
Amanda Vigil is a San Francisco born and raised artist and educator teaching film and video production for the last 12 years. Currently, in her role as a Career Pathway Specialist, she supports the performing arts, computer science, and media arts programs across the district.

Anna Wong is a data scientist who has focused on educational data and research for the last 10 years. Currently, in her role as a Manager of Data and Operations, she designs and implements the budget, operations, and state & federal reporting systems for the Career Pathways program.

Bernadette Frias is a native of San Francisco and the first in her family to graduate from college. Currently, in her role as a Work-Based Learning & Summer Coordinator, Bernadette supports activities for youth to get out of the classroom and gain workforce experience through job shadows, professional development workshops, and fellowship opportunities with industry partners across San Francisco.

Cesy Martínez has led the design and implementation of comprehensive youth development programs for over 10 years. Currently, in her role as an Outreach Specialist, she supports the Business & Entrepreneurship, Culinary & Hospitality, and Urban Agriculture pathway programs across the district.

Erik Rice serves as Director of Career Pathways and takes great pride in his role as an SFUSD parent (one student in middle school, one in high school). Erik’s focus is integrating the Career Pathway work with other SFUSD departments, city, industry, and community partners. He is passionate about redesigning the high school experience for EACH and EVERY young person and believes in the power of work-based learning and project-based learning.

Joana Feit is an educator focused on providing an equitable and real-world experience to San Francisco students. As a Director for College and Career Readiness, Joana leads the partnership with City College of San Francisco by developing pre-college experiences and initiatives for students that are relevant, accessible and aligned to Career Pathways and Early College.

Joanna Huang has supported educational programs for middle, high school, and university students for over 15 years. Currently, in her role as Principal Clerk, she manages the day-to-day operations of the Career Pathways program. She is responsible for overseeing the MOUs and contracts with program partners.

Leila Vega is born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She has been a community organizer in social justice and a youth advocate for at-promise youth in San Francisco and the Bay Area for 14 years. In her role as the Work-Based Learning Systems Specialist, Leila supports strategic planning through cultivating and increasing industry partnerships for the school district.

Rita Molloy is a native San Franciscan and a graduate of McAteer High School - Go Jaguars! She has worked in Education and Human Services for over 30 years. In her current role, as a Pathway Specialist, Rita supports Public Service, Construction Environmental Technology and Automotive Pathways.
