Empower ME Academy, the premier youth basketball and leadership academy in San Francisco, will have clinics during SFUSD Spring Break.

Starting in Jan. 2024 and ending in late Mar. 2024, we are calling on young artists across San Francisco to add art to a collective exhibit celebrating how youth voices are important and must be heard. We are accepting art until Mar. 30.

Each year, SFUSD and Spark* SF Public Schools honors six graduating seniors who exemplify the characteristics of SFUSD’s Graduate Profile. Deadline to apply is this Friday, Mar. 15.

Families who applied for the 2024-2025 school year on or before Feb. 2 will receive their assignment letters on Monday, Mar. 18.

The District 1 Transportation Study will explore ways to improve and increase walking, biking, and transit trips in District 1. Visit sfcta.org/D1-study to take the project survey, available through Mar. 31, to get more information on upcoming outreach events, and learn more about the project.

Join Youth Engaged in Library Leadership (YELL), the summer leadership program for teens at the San Francisco Public Library. Applications are due on Apr. 12.

During the month of March, Parents for Public Schools of San Francisco will host learning sessions about the December 2023 Regional Advisory Committee -West Report “Identifying and Addressing Priority Education Needs.” 

The Stice Lab at Stanford University is currently looking for parents who have experienced disordered eating and their daughters, who have not experienced disordered eating, between the ages of 12-16 to participate in a study investigating healthy adolescent development and eating behaviors.

SFUSD is seeking parents and guardians of Asian and Asian American SFUSD students from all grade levels (pre-K to 12th grade) and communities to serve on the Asian American Parent Advisory Committee.

High school students ages 14-17 who are still missing required immunizations can go to an immunization clinic on Saturday, Mar. 9. Appointments are required.

We aim to engage and educate participants about sustainable practices that benefit the environment.

The San Francisco Department of Child Support Services works with parents and legal guardians to ensure children and families receive court-ordered financial and medical support. Services are free for parents who receive public assistance. There is a $35 annual fee for parents who do not receive public assistance if we collect at least $550 for the year.

Summer program youth leadership program from the Golden Gate National Park Conservatory provides middle schoolers from diverse backgrounds with a seven week summer program to explore how to become a R.I.C.H leader through exploration and fun - Respect, Integrity, Courage, and Humility. Apply by next Thursday, Mar. 8! 

The School Planning Summit provides the opportunity to work together as a team on your School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) and budget for the 2024-25 school year.

Each year the SFUSD CAC for Special Education recognizes and celebrates the individuals and groups who support, inspire and teach students with exceptional needs in the San Francisco Unified School District.
