Admin Institute 2021 Day 3, July 29 - Working Towards an Antiracist Organizational Culture

Working Towards an Antiracist Organizational Culture: Agenda

Continuous improvement means change. Leaders know that change requires vulnerability-- to learn, to fail, to try again. Leaders attend to the group dynamic of their teams and staff, and the presence or absence of trust. They set up teams with foundations and infrastructure for clarity, trust-building, and shared purpose. This is also true at the All-Admin level. When we ask leaders to take the intellectual and emotional risks to learn new skills, to lead continuous improvement, to lead with the lens of antiracism, we must attend to the reproductive or transformative conditions of the “team”-- or the organizational culture.
