Color Mobile Sites Phasing Out
Due to low usage, Color monitored mobile sites for molecular testing will phase out in April. Color mobile vans will be deployed to support group tracing at various school sites by request.
Molecular Testing at SFUSD School Sites
Due to low usage, COLOR Mobile Testing Vans will be closed beginning April 4th 2022.
On-site rapid antigen testing and take-home self-swab molecular test kits are still available.
Register for a Color Account
To get started, set up your Color account online.
- Students 13 years old or older can register and consent for testing themselves. Students must use their SFUSD email address when registering–this is how SFUSD will track eligibility and results across schools. Results will be sent to the mobile phone number entered when registering.
-
For students younger than 13, parents and guardians can register their student for testing two ways:
-
Enter your school’s name in the search bar on this website to find your registration link and follow the instructions on the website.
-
SFUSD students at non-public schools can go to home.color.com/covid/sign-up/start?partner=sfusd-nps-students to register.
-
-
Register in-person at a testing site.

-
Parents and guardians must use their student’s SFUSD email address when registering–this is how SFUSD will track eligibility and participation. You can access your student’s email address in ParentVUE. Results will be sent to the mobile phone number entered when registering.

If a parent or guardian chooses to register their child before testing, they do not need to accompany the child to a testing site. If the child is not registered, the parent or guardian must accompany the child.
Families can contact Color directly at 844-352-6567 if they are having trouble signing up or logging into their accounts.
