Dr. E’leva Hughes Gibson
As a product of SFUSD and Bay Area universities, Dr. Gibson has served as a teacher, an adjunct professor, a school site administrator, central office leader as well as a parent. She is dedicated to closing the achievement gap/opportunity gap, providing equitable opportunities for children and families, promoting innovation and 21st-century learning, and supporting teaching the “whole child.”
Dr. Gibson earned a doctorate of education, master’s degree, and a teaching credential from the University of San Francisco, a master’s degree and administrative services credential from the University of California, Berkeley; and a bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University.
She oversees Cohort 5, which is comprised of the following schools:
