Class of 2020

Material return

Students in AP Giannini's Class of 2020 who borrowed materials from the school are expected to return those non-tech items (books, instruments, uniforms, etc.).

Students who borrowed tech (computers and/or WiFi hotspots) and are still attending SFUSD high schools should continue using those devices during distance learning. Students who no longer attend SFUSD schools need to return tech ASAP.

The school is available for drop offs on the following days and times:

  • Monday, September 21, 1:30-4:30 pm
  • Tuesday, September 22, 1:30-4:30 pm
  • Thursday, September 24, 1:30-4:30 pm
  • Friday, September 25, 1:30-4:30 pm

Materials will be dropped off using the building doors located near the Main Office. People dropping off materials must wear a mask and maintain 6 feet social distance while waiting to drop off materials.

We may be announcing more drop off days in the future. Please check again here for future dates.

Locker clean out

We will be allowing students from the AP Giannini Class of 2020 to enter the building to clean out their lockers, gather their things, and return any items that belong to the school (library books, classroom books, textbooks, instruments, etc.)

Giannini will be open the following days for 2nd floor locker clean out:

  • Monday, September 21, 1:30-4:30 pm
  • Tuesday, September 22, 1:30-4:30 pm
  • Thursday, September 24, 1:30-4:30 pm
  • Friday, September 25, 1:30-4:30 pm

*There is NO Access to the 3rd & 4th Floor Lockers!!! (they are under construction)
*We will make another announcement when those 3rd and 4th floor lockers become available (they will not be cut)...

If you do not clean-out your locker and remove your lock during this time period, your lock will be cut and items that do not belong to the school will be stored or donated…

If you forgot your locker combo, Mr. Backstrom will be available to cut locks.

Students must enter through the Main Office Entrance and go upstairs to the 2nd floor and exit downstairs through the doors by the PE Locker Rooms (no 3rd/4th floor lockers)

After you have cleaned out your hallway locker, you will proceed to your PE locker, then exit through the doors in that area. Any school items from your lockers will be dropped off in bins by the PE locker room hallway, before you exit the building.

Use the markings on the sidewalk, to line up using proper distancing if a line should form.
