I am very happy to be at Chinese Immersion School as the School Nurse.  I look forward in working with the staff, children and their families to promote health and wellness in the classrooms and school-wide events and activities.  I will share my time between this school and Hillcrest Elementary School during the week.

I believe it is a partnership of school and families to raise a child, so that our child will be physically, emotionally, socially and academically prepared to face the tasks ahead.  It really takes a village!  I remember besides my parents, my greatest mentors were my teachers.

Like some of the staff, I was also born in Hong Kong, immigrated first to Canada and later settling here with my family in the Bay Area.  I was mostly educated in Canada, received my first experience working in public health and urban city schools.  We moved to the Peninsula to be closer to our extended family members.  I have one daughter who is now a Junior, attending Menlo School.

My love has always been working with diverse community and children.  I have been working in the schools of SFUSD since 1996, focusing on prevention, early detection and management of health and behavior concerns.  I am excited to be part of this community to contribute to the overall well-being and educational success of your child.  If you have any question or concern, please feel free to leave me a message in my mailbox at the school or contact me through the district email.
