REQUIRED FORMS

HEALTH AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

Covid-19 Testing for Students

  • Testing is a very important part of keeping our schools safe.  Regular testing helps us to support students and school staff to know when to isolate if they test positive for COVID-19.
  • The California Department of Public Health and our agreement with our labor partners requires that the District offer testing of students for COVID-19 prior to returning to school and every two weeks while attending school in person.
  • SFUSD will have student testing sites available at no cost to families at least one week before the return to in-person learning. More Information about testing sites and schedules was sent out in an email earlier this week.
  • All students will be able to access in-person learning even if a family chooses not to have them participate in the COVID-19 testing.

HEALTH AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

It takes a team to keep everyone safe. This means schools staff and students must:

  • Self screen before coming to school
  • Physically distance at least 6 feet apart
  • Wear face masks at all times, except when eating or drinking
  • Wash or sanitize hands frequently
  • Stay in your stable group

Schools will ensure outdoor air ventilation and frequent cleaning and disinfecting.

WEARING A FACE MASK

  • All students must wear a face covering or face mask before getting on the school bus or entering school.
  • Only students with a documented medical exemption will be exempt from wearing a face covering.
    • To be exempt, provide a doctor’s note stating you need to be medically exempt.
