Hello Flynn Families,
As you heard from SFUSD, all SFUSD school buildings will be closed through May 1st. Starting on April 13th, Flynn and every school in SFUSD will launch interactive, distance learning (until that time, you can find learning options for home at sfusd.edu). Flynn is creating a plan to provide access to Chromebook laptops and WiFi to students that need it in order to engage in distance Learning while schools are closed. District-wide, we are collecting information to distribute devices initially to 3rd-5th grade students who require one. Prior to April 13th, we will share our plan to provide distance learning resources (print and/or digital) to TK-2nd grade students.
So that we can strategically loan our devices to those students who need them, please complete the SFUSD Distance Learning request form as soon as possible for each of your students:
Once we identify which students may need device or WiFi support, we will reach out individually to schedule a window of time where families can pick up the loaned device (starting with 3rd-5th grade students). During this distribution, we will strictly follow SFUSD and CDC protocols for preventing the spread of COVID-19.
