Schedule for McKinley Elementary School

In-Person and Hybrid Learning Schedule

K-2 Students Returning In-Person

  • 5 days a week
  • Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday: In-Person 9:30 AM - 2:15 PM
  • Wednesday: In-Person 9:30 AM - 12:45 PM  ** EARLY DISMISSAL **

For families who cannot adjust their schedule to accommodate the early release on Wednesday, we will offer child care between 12:45 and 2:15.  Please know that our staffing is limited so we will need to combine students from different cohorts into new groups.  This means that if you chose our care option, it counts as one of the two outside of school programs that your child is able to attend in addition to in-person school. We will provide a sign-up form after spring break.

Distance Learning Schedule

In order to accommodate the teachers having to teach both in-person and remote, the current distance learning schedule will change. The change in schedule will take place April 19 for K-2 students and April 26 for 3-5 students.

There will be a school-wide remote learning block from 8:00 AM-9:15 AM for our K-5 Distance Learning only students and our 3/4/5 in-person learners on their remote days. After that, each grade level will meet the remaining required synchronous minutes differently based on their specific context and student need. In the coming weeks, teachers will share classroom-specific schedules.
