Message from the Principal

Hello! Welcome to Rooftop! 

I am Ms. Sarah and it is my immense privilege to be Rooftop’s Principal. 

At Rooftop we deeply believe that each and every student - regardless of the color of their skin, their socio-economic status, the zip code they live in, etc. - deserve access to the supports and opportunities they need to become their best selves. We know that all kids can and want to achieve at high levels and that it is up to us - the adults in the system - to do everything that we can to ensure that happens. 

That said, we strive to provide whole-child supports and opportunities to bolster each and every students’ success. From our sensory and motor room to our literacy interventions to our budding Black Student Union, we lean in to get to know our students and families - their goals, their strengths and their needs - in order to provide the highest quality and individualized education possible.
