Grab & Go Meals Now Available to SFUSD Students Only

As the school year begins with distance learning, SFUSD Student Nutrition Services will continue to provide nutritious school meals for students. Beginning August 19, meals will be available to SFUSD students only. This change is due to USDA policies. Families must provide the student’s barcode for their meal account when picking up meals.  Each student’s barcode will be mailed to households by August 18. View the list of Sites and Schedules

Do it today so your child can receive Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) food benefits!

The eligibility window for P-EBT closed in July. New funding authorized by the federal government this week may lead to another round of benefits soon.

If your children were not enrolled in school meals before schools closed, they may not be able to be verified for P-EBT eligibility.

How to Apply

To submit the Multi-Purpose Family Income Form and enroll in school meals, apply online through SchoolCafe (available in English, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish and Vietnamese). Go to:

Allow 5 business days for processing. You will be notified via email (to the address you have on file with the Enrollment Office) that your eligibility results are ready to access via your SchoolCafe account.

*** Note for immigrant families: P-EBT is a disaster emergency relief benefit and is not considered for public charge purposes. Also, children are the recipients of P-EBT, so it won’t be considered as a benefit received by their parents.
