SFUSD offers a wide variety of high quality school programs. While every school is responsible for teaching our children using the same high academic standards, each school has unique features and services. Explore your school options to find out which schools will best meet your child’s needs. We have 72 elementary schools (including eight K-8 schools), 13 middle schools, and 14 high schools for you to choose from, we hope that you will find a great fit for your family.

October 19, 2019: Enrollment Fair at O’Connell High School. 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., 2355 Folsom St. Applications available.

We encourage you to visit as many schools as possible. It is a great way to meet staff, find out about services, and get a feel for the environment of the school.
Each school is its own community, providing its diverse student body with many unique educational experiences. All schools encourage visitors.
- Please call ahead and plan your visit.
- Stop by the school office to sign-in.
- Observe classes, and talk to principals, teachers, and other parents.
