The March Placement Period deadline has passed and we are no longer taking applications.
What is the March Placement Period?
The March Placement Period is the first of several placement "rounds". The SFUSD student assignment system uses choice as a way to help create equitable, diverse learning environments. Students applying for a SFUSD school submit a ranked list of choices, and the system assigns students based on available seats. All students who want to apply for a SFUSD school in 2020-21 must submit an application.

Families who would like additional assistance with understanding their options after March Placement may join a virtual workshop. This virtual workshop will walk families through the May Placement process followed by a live Q&A. This workshop is in lieu of the cancelled in-person workshops that were scheduled for March 26 and April 7. The virtual workshop will be livestreamed in English, Spanish, and Chinese, and the recording posted on sfusd.edu/enroll for viewing on-demand. Please see Virtual Enrollment Workshops for the dates and times.
