Special Education-Specific Table of Contents

Special Education (SPED) is instruction or education that is required to meet the needs of children with special needs that cannot be supplied through modification in the regular education program. 

This section includes information about assessments, raising and resolving issues related to special education, and contact information for the Special Education Services Ombudsperson. Additionally, throughout this handbook is further information related to the rights of special education students.
