The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) SF team is producing a series of events in January! Drop in to chat with staff at the Open House, attend the Mental Health 101 presentation, or meet other community members while walking along Ocean Beach during the Saturday Stroll. 

SFUSD schools will be closed Dec. 19, 2022 through Jan. 2, 2023 for Winter Break. SFUSD offices will be closed to the public from Dec. 26, 2022 through Jan. 2, 2023. Essential operations will continue.

Synergy will be offline from Dec. 22 at 5 p.m. to Dec. 23 at 9 a.m. for a version upgrade.

Enter the San Francisco Collaborative Against Human Trafficking (SFCAHT) annual poster, writing, and music contest. Submissions are due Feb. 22.

SFUSD high school students are invited to participate in "Step Into the Light," a free creative competition honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Deadline: Dec. 21.

San Francisco Youth Theatre offers classes for Grades PK-12. Classes are offered at an affordable sliding scale, and no youth is turned away for a lack of funds.

The CA Department of Rehab is accepting applications for the 2023 Youth Leadership Forum for Students with Disabilities (YLF)! Deadline to apply: Dec. 30, 2022. YLF is a six-day program that helps delegates become advocates and leaders in their communities by developing pride in their disability, confidence in their skills, and knowledge of how to discover resources for college, careers, and independent living.
