Padlet is an online collaborative bulletin board that students can use to share their work, provide peer feedback, brainstorm and organize ideas, vote, and so on. Only the free version of Padlet is approved for use at SFUSD. You may not use District funds to pay for Padlet.

Curricular Uses, Resources, & Tutorials
Students can use Padlet to build content knowledge and 21st century skills, including the following digital learning competencies described in SFUSD's Digital Learning Scope & Sequence.
Use collaborative tools to share drafts of their work in order to give & receive feedback from peers, teachers, and other audiences beyond the classroom.
Use collaborative technologies to work with others, including peers, experts or community members, to examine issues and problems from multiple viewpoints.
Leverage collaborative technologies to contribute constructively to project teams, assuming various roles and responsibilities to work effectively toward a common goal.
Know and use a deliberate design process for generating ideas, testing theories, creating innovative artifacts or solving authentic problems. Develop, test and refine prototypes as part of this cyclical design process.
Curate digital resources (e.g. images, data, articles, graphs) to discover interrelationships and demonstrate meaningful connections.
Use digital tools to construct outlines and draft research papers, including in collaboration with others, while developing academic language & synthesizing information generated from research.

Common Sense Media Aligned Lessons
Articulate why it’s important to consider the perspectives of others and the impact that comments can have on fostering a positive or negative online community, and generate strategies to address cyberbullying, including showing empathy for those who have been cyberbullying.
