REDUCED PRICE MEAL OPTIONS

Free and Reduced Meals

Multipurpose family income forms for free and reduced meals in San Francisco Unified School District are available under the National School Lunch, School Breakfast, and After School Snack Program. Eligibility is based on household income. Children pay nothing if they are eligible for free or reduced price meals. 


Children in homes that receive Food Stamps, California Work Opportunity (CalWORKS) and Responsibility to kids assistance units (KinGAP) or benefit from the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) are eligible regardless of household income.

Multipurpose family income forms are also available in English, Chinese, and Spanish at all schools at the beginning of the school year, or at Student Nutrition Services Office at 841 Ellis Street.  For more information, please call (415) 749-3604.

Early Education Centers

Applications for free and reduced price meals in the San Francisco Unified School District are also available under the Child Care Food Program for students enrolled in the Early Education Center's Program. Multipurpose family income forms are available in English, Spanish, and Chinese at all Early Education Centers at the beginning of the school year.

PAYMENT METHODS

Pay Online

Pay online at www.MypaymentsPlus.com! View your child’s purchase history. If your child pays full price for breakfast and lunch meals (paid eligibility), you have the option to pay for meals one day at a time or to purchase several meals ahead of time.

Middle -  Aptos, AP Giannini, Brown MS, Denman, Everett, Hoover, King, Lick, Marina, Presidio, Roosevelt, Visitation Valley MS

High -  Balboa, Burton, Civic Center, Galileo, June Jordan, Lincoln, Lowell, Mission, John O'Connell, Ruth Asawa SOTA , SF International, Thurgood Marshall, Wallenberg, Washington

Pay By Check

To pay by check, put the cash or check in an envelope and have your student return it to the dining staff. Please note that the check must be made payable to “Student Nutrition Services.” Be sure to write your students’s name, ID, and homeroom number on the check. Please remember to submit a Multipurpose family income form. It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to pay for any accrued meal charges.

MEAL PRICES

 

Those ineligible for free or reduced meals through the National School Lunch, School Breakfast, and After School Snack program pay $1.50 for breakfast and $3.00 for lunch. Snacks are free for students enrolled in an after school education/instructional program.
