Overview
  • At Spring Valley Science, we provide a challenging, future-oriented education emphasizing science, critical thinking, communication and problem solving skills. All state standards are taught in our rigorous curriculum.

We have embraced a comprehensive approach to literacy to develop avid readers and writers. We believe that making social justice a reality means that there is no reason why all children should not be learning. Students who need extra help to achieve should receive that extra attention. Just as not all children learn in the same way, not all students should receive the same teaching approaches. Our student centered core value also embraces the idea that all students have the capacity to become responsible for their learning when they use higher level thinking and academic discourse to solve problems. We know that intelligence is not fixed and that individuals can maximize their growth mindset.

The students at Spring Valley Science enjoy learning and taking personal responsibility for their actions. We envision that our children will always seek to further their academic abilities and talents to successfully achieve their dreams and contribute to society. Our high expectations for achievement prepare our students to pursue their aspirations and achieve their personal goals.
