The City is partnering with SFUSD to open a COVID-19 testing site at Crocker Amazon sports complex in the Excelsior District with 150 tests per day for SFUSD students and staff starting October 5.

The City continues to commit to low-barrier vaccination access in neighborhoods hardest hit by COVID-19 as well as expanding access on the western side of San Francisco.

The San Francisco Board of Education has commenced its search for a new superintendent and outlined the upcoming deadlines and opportunities for the public to participate in the process of selecting a firm to lead the search for candidates.

San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) classrooms that rely on open windows to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 will soon be able to deploy portable air cleaners (PACs) as needed to improve indoor air quality during fire season.

The San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) has resumed in-person learning full time at all schools, five days a week. SFUSD has put in place safety standards and protocols at every campus to welcome students back for the 2021-22 school year.
